Self-Care – Dr. Bina Nangia
November 26, 2021 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm IST
Self-care has been defined as the process of taking care of oneself with behaviours that promote health and active management of illness when it occurs. Individuals engage in some form of self-care daily with food choices, exercise, sleep, and dental care. However, many people spent most of their senior years taking care of other people, including their grandchildren. Self-care or self-help for the elderly can be challenging because they’re used to putting the needs of others first.
Dr Bina Nangia will elaborate on a few basic self-care activities for seniors who want to thrive in their golden years.
