Meditation, Sakshi Bhavna and Bandhas – Sushila Sharangdhar
November 29, 2021 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm IST
Meditation is considered a type of mind-body complementary medicine. Meditation can produce a deep state of relaxation and a tranquil mind. During meditation, you focus your attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress.
Sakshi Bhava means to have a witnessing attitude to the world and is developed by practising a body awareness technique.
A bandha is a lock or bind in yoga, which is performed in order to direct and regulate the flow of prana (life force energy) to certain parts of the body. Also referred to as an energetic lock, bandha was practised by yogis of the past to promote energy flow and maintain optimal health.
