Graduate and postgraduate from JIPMER, Dr. Ratna Rao, she has been associated with Apollo Hospital Hyderabad for 30 years since its inception and championed process improvement projects across all the departments in hospitals.

Currently working as Geriatric Co-ordinator for the Apollo group of hospitals, Dr. Rao has been instrumental and the driving force in establishing Apollo Geriatric and elderly services in 6 locations – Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bhuvaneshwar and is in the process of extending this specialized service to 10 more locations in near future. Dr. Rao was recently an invited speaker for ELDERS ASIA conference November 2018.

She has been a consultant to local healthcare setup and brought about established solutions for improvement of patient care. Dr. Rao has excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills. She is team-oriented and a change agent with a passion for up-gradation of knowledge and excellence.
