Prior to retirement, Dr. P Vyasamoorthy established and maintained many academic, research and industrial libraries, including Satyam Computers & ICICI Knowledge Park.

After his retirement, he specializes in pushing information to senior citizens community through many blogs, runs several discussion forums, maintains websites etc. including his flagship service: the 17 year old sss-global Yahoo group for 60+ for 700 members. Dr. Vyasamoorthy is presently associated with All India Senior Citizens Confederation, Senior Citizens Forum, Association of Senior Citizens, Aasara, Telangana United Federation of Senior Citizens Associations, Indian Society of U3As

At 76 years of age, Dr. Vyasamoorthy has multiple interests making him: gerontologist, blogger, website developer, moderator, IT consultant, homeopath, writer, speaker, teacher, social activist, author, lifelong learner, moderator, listener, reviewer – all rolled into one.

He has received: AP State Award, KLN Award, Karmaveer Puraskar Award, HelpAge Award, Prof Visweswaraiah Memorial Award etc.
