1. Dr. Alla Gopala Krishna Gokhale has done his MBBS in 1982 & MS (General Surgery) in 1985 from Guntur Medical College.
2. He has done Mch in Cardiothoracic surgery from prestigious CMC-Vellore.
3. Has been Awarded with no. of Gold Medals during his illustrious academic career
4. Dr. Gokhale has got largest experience in Minimal Invasive Heart surgery & complicated heart surgeries in Telangana & AP.
5. Performed 1st Heart & Kidney transplant in the country on a single patient in 2002
6. In 2012 – He had conducted a successful Heart transplant on a 69 yr old patient.
7. Till date he has done 17 Heart transplants, 3- Lung transplants & more than 15,000 heart surgeries.
8. Founder member of “SAHRUDAYA MEDICAL & EDUCATIONAL TRUST” with a goal of rendering services to poor & needy.
9. 2012 – Awarded as “BEST DOCTOR AWARD” by Health Care International & in 2011 “Life Time Achievement Award” by Indian Medical Association-Hyderabad.
10. On 26th-Jan-2016, Dr.Gokhale has been conferred with “PADMASREE” by Govt of India.
11. Currently he is the Chief Cardiothoracic, Heart & Lung transplant Surgeon at Apollo Hospital-Jubilee Hills.
